welcome to empower
Authentically you. Show up as you are. No special clothing is needed.
No prior experience. You don’t need to touch your toes. or look good in yoga pants.
It’s not an exclusive club — you don’t need to know anyone.
The only prerequisite is that you bring your best vibes. Your smiling self.
Some days the smile is easy. Others it comes through gritted teeth and an abundance of silent f-bombs.
Regardless, we know that when you show up, you’ll leave feeling better (fabulously better), and you’ll begin to experience the life-changing benefits of yoga immediately.

Dora Allen
Dora was born in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela in South America. After working thirty-three years for a corporate business and after losing three hours a day in Caracas traffic for decades. Dora knew that she was ready for a radical change of her life and soon after met the love of her life which brought her to Logansport. She started practicing yoga for the first time with Natasha Walters and because yoga brought balance and peace to Dora's life, she decided to learn more by taking the Bodyworks Teacher Training.Dora writes, “Yoga for me is a daily practice, precious time to take care of my body and mind. When I teach, I like to be gentle with my audience, and practice the sequences in harmony and be happy with myself, which allows me to be happy with others.Namaste”
Stacy Rans
Stacy first discovered yoga in 1997 and, after about ten years of a practice that ebbed and flowed, developed a solid practice in 2008. She completed her initial 200hr Teacher Training with Rolf Gates in 2012 and her 300hr Sattva Vinyasa with Dani McGuire in 2018. Stacy has a heart for sharing yoga with ALL levels of students...and in 2016 began expanding that reach through her role as a "teacher of teachers" in Bodyworks 200hr Teacher Training program. While she will always have an appreciation for the strength and flexibility that her asana practice provides her with, she has more recently found a greater connection with the 8-limb path of yoga...and the impact of taking her yoga OFF of her mat...and she has begun to share that knowledge with others through private sessions as well as teaching yoga to the young men at the Logansport Juvenile Correctional Facility."Let the beauty that you love, be what you do" ~ Rumi
Amanda Mohler
Amanda found her way to yoga in 2003 through a class project in college. She became hooked on how yoga melted her stress and anxiety away after years of struggling with these issues. Through the years she kept taking breaks from yoga only to come back after several months away. Feeling something was missing, she re-dedicated herself to yoga every day in 2017. She became driven to help share the essence and power of yoga by completing the Bodyworks 200-Hour Teacher Training and Yoga Nidra training in 2018 at Yogaview Chicago. As a yoga teacher, she blends Vinyasa with Yoga Nidra for a relaxing calming practice. When Amanda is not on her mat, you will find her enjoying a good book, spending quality time with friends and family and aspiring to be more like Wonder Woman.

“Be present as the watcher of your mind- of your thoughts and emotions as well as your reactions in various situations.”

Natasha Walters
Natasha discovered the path of holistic health after feeling helpless during her grandparents battle with cancer. During that time, she spent countless hours by their side at doctors appointments and hospital stays where she noticed that only one thing was being addressed: symptoms. By carefully watching, she uncovered that healing symptoms is just the tip of the iceberg. For true healing to occur, an individual must consider not only physical symptoms, but get to the root of the dis-ease. This includes a close look at nutrition, as well as addressing the whole person and their stress levels, emotional imbalances, and spiritual fitness. Natasha combines her knowledge of yoga, Ayurveda and holistic nutrition to meet her yoga students and nutrition clients where they are, with compassion and understanding. She is a Certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and believes that each person is uniquely individual, and beautiful.Natasha writes:As a mom of young boys, I understand living life from a chaotic place and how that wreaks havoc on our own self-care. I love being a sounding board for others to uncover their own truth about what their needs, desires and goals are. Once we determine those, it’s just a matter of refining habits so that our values and actions align. Achieving balance is elusive. Balance is constantly refining and redefining our life so that we feel empowered and happy inside of the chaos. My inspiration behind my teaching and my education is to be the best possible support to my friends and family in health and nutrition. Yoga is infinitely challenging and keeps me focused on personal growth and progress, while providing the support and foundation I need to enjoy every moment of life.”
Aimee Trout
Aimee began her yoga journey in the late 90’s, viewing yoga as just as an exercise program. It didn’t take long for her to see there were so many more benefits than physical fitness. Some of those first observed benefits were increased energy, a desire to eat better, less tension in the body and increased focus. Unfortunately, as life went on, she fell away from her practice.
Then in 2018, as her life began to unravel, Aimee set a goal to get back to her mat every day. That intention started the momentum for her to eventually find her way to Empower. There, she found her Sankalpa of “I am investing in ME”. Aimee completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2021 at Empower under the guidance of Natasha, Stacy and Whitney. Through her training and practice Aimee has found her way back to herself and opened up her passion of serving and sharing with others that yoga is for every-ONE and every-BODY. Her intention is to convey balance and teach discernment of when to push a little and when to be gentler with oneself.
